Astro blog. The development environment is provided by devenv (Node 22, Yarn, simple-http-server) and activated through direnv.
Setup
Requires devenv and direnv on PATH. Approve the environment once:
direnv allow .
After that, entering the project directory loads the pinned environment from
devenv.nix / devenv.lock automatically.
Commands
With direnv active, run them directly. Otherwise prefix each command with
devenv shell --:

Refresh the pinned inputs with devenv update.
Site URL
The production origin is configured centrally by the site field in
astro.config.mjs and can be overridden with the PUBLIC_SITE_URL
environment variable. On-page navigation and asset references use
root-relative paths, while RSS and sitemap output keep absolute production
URLs.
